Reduced tip, folding probe
The SuperFast Thermapen thermometer has a stainless steel food probe with a reduced tip that can be folded 180° to the side of the meter when not in use. The response time of any thermometer depends on many factors, the mass of the probe tip, heat conduction and most importantly, the state of the substance you want to measure. In both air and liquids, turbulence is crucial for fast response. The ETI calibration laboratory tested the Thermapen in a stirred water bath - with astonishing results: The SuperFast thermometer reached 100% of the test temperature in under three seconds!

Large display
The new SuperFast Thermapen has a large digital display with a precise indication of the temperature over the range of -49.9 to +299.9°C with a resolution of 0.1°C and an accuracy of ±0.4°C over the range of -49.9 to +199.9°C, beyond that ±1°C. Low battery and open circuit are also indicated (icon) when applicable. Each Thermapen is powered by two lithium button cells, with a life expectancy of 1,500 hours.

What is Biomaster?
Biomaster additives are non-toxic, effective inorganic silver-based broad spectrum biocides for plastics to reduce health risks. The silver concentration in the patented active antimicrobial agent in Biomaster ensures the release of silver ions when needed, which then safely prevent microbial growth.
