Unlike wooden boards, Elmar's FIRE&FOOD cutting board is dishwasher safe and warp-resistant. It's also sustainable, and your knives stay sharper longer because the cutting surface is lightly scored depending on the type of cut, protecting the blade. This means your knives need sharpening less often. Furthermore, no microplastics are produced during cutting. With RICHLITE, you avoid plastic leaching while cutting, thus reducing your intake of pollutants and environmental pollution.

Thanks to its heat resistance up to 175°C, the cutting board can also be used as a trivet. It is resistant to discoloration and does not absorb odors. Furthermore, it is stain-resistant. The rubber feet ensure the cutting board sits stably and securely on any surface during use.

*RICHLITE is a sustainably produced material made from wood pulp. The paper-like material is laid down by hand in alternating layers, impregnated with food-grade resin, and then pressed into a sheet under very high pressure. During this process, the wood pulp bonds structurally, becoming extremely hard and waterproof. The result is a sheet that is dimensionally stable and robust. In the final step, these sheets are CNC-cut and finished in Germany. The end result is a finished RICHLITE cutting board that has already delighted many chefs and grillers. RICHLITE cutting boards are also suitable for halal/kosher food preparation.
