Product test: Rösle F60 AIR – Perfect charcoal grilling

In this issue we are introducing the Rösle charcoal kettle grill F60 Air, a grill that has the potential to become a classic. Characteristic of this kettle is the enamelled steel frame with the distinctive diagonal columns, its massive wheels and the Air Control System.

Assembly

One person can assemble it in just a few minutes. The tools are included and the instructions are very well written.

Operational

The equipment includes two charcoal baskets for direct and indirect grilling. The stainless steel grill grate with a diameter of 60 cm offers a lot of grilling space. It is equipped with two flaps that make it easy to add charcoal or wood chips. The temperature control via the air system was very consistent during the test. The diagonally opening lid is also particularly practical. The grill's robust chassis makes it very mobile and changing location, even on uneven terrain, is no challenge. Optional accessories include holders for tools and a side shelf that can be hung on the "railing".

Conclusion:

The Rösle charcoal ball F60 Air offers everything that makes a good charcoal grill: good temperature regulation, a large grill surface and a stable chassis. The grill gets our recommendation.

The Rösle F60 Air is available at a RRP of 399 euros. Its little brother, the F50 Air, has a RRP of 299 euros.
