FIRE&FOOD Grill Equipment News 04/25

More and more grillers and barbecuers are eyeing an outdoor kitchen for their garden or patio – in a micro-version, they can even fit on a balcony. The range is becoming increasingly diverse, and the price spectrum makes it accessible even for those on a budget. Some manufacturers are quite keen to keep the entry barrier as low as possible. With a modular design, your personal dream can also be fulfilled in several stages.

Bogason Quasar
The manufacturer Bogason, which produces in Germany, shows how a gas grill can turn into an entire outdoor kitchen at any time. The heart of the system is the gas grill module, and with the versatile additional modules, an outdoor kitchen can be designed according to your own wishes and needs. Every single module is powder-coated in a solid color all around (there are four colors to choose from) and can be connected seamlessly with the others. They can be set up as a single module or a kitchen block – and can even be used as an add-on for other brands of grills. The following modules are available in addition to the gas grill: cabinet, drawers, sink, refrigerator, corner cabinet, an add-on with additional grill and cooking options, and a Kamado (suitable for various Kamado models). Optionally, the modules can be customized with ceramic worktops in various colors and from various manufacturers.

Customers can choose between modules for a refrigerator, sink, and waste system, as well as two storage modules and a corner solution. Additionally, there are six different BBQ modules for gas grills, griddles, Kamados, and side burners. Slateex Oven
The Slateex oven with top heat combines a compact format (30 x 30 cm, height 24 cm, weight approx. 5 kg) with the power of natural stone and fire technology. Below the soapstone is a robust stainless steel tray into which the food is placed. The massive lid turns the oven into a closed system, so the food is cooked by the stored heat of the soapstone as well as targeted top heat.
