FIRE&FOOD is pleased to introduce its new media partner. The online magazine "Fleischglück" and its podcast are committed to sustainable meat production and at the same time raise awareness among consumers about the conscious handling of meat. The goal of Fleischglück is also the goal of FIRE&FOOD and our FIRE&FOOD meat scout: to increase the number of informed meat consumers, strengthen the craft and thereby create a good feeling when enjoying meat.
Gourmet and meat experts have their say twice a month in the Fleischglück podcast in order to be able to go into even more depth about the content. The Fleischglück podcast gives the meat scene a voice. Experts from all domains have their say here - butchers, chefs, slaughterers, hunters, gourmets and career changers with a passion. Since August 2018, Fleischglück co-founder David Seitz has been inviting interesting personalities with a close connection to the topic of meat to talk in order to go into more depth. The podcasts are much more than just a self-presentation of the invited guests - uncomfortable questions are also asked here. Questions that consumers regularly ask themselves - often without finding answers in everyday life. The 24 episodes so far have explored key topics such as meat breeds, imported meat, butcher entrepreneurship or dry aging, but also more difficult topics such as ritual slaughter, animal death and blood as food. The Fleischglück podcast explains, questions and clarifies, building a bridge between meat experts and meat lovers, always with the aim of enabling both sides to gain knowledge. Guests in previous episodes have included Lucki Maurer, Christoph Grabowski, Frank Albers, Erwig Gegenbauer and Heiko Brath. We are already excited about the first podcast with Elmar Fetscher!
