SCA Steak Cook-Off at BBQ Week: These are the Steak Masters 2022!

A total of 13 participants grilled for victory and points in the SCA Steak Cook-Off and the SCA Ancillary Burger Contest 2022 at the BBQ Week in Münsingen. Daniel Raeder was delighted to take first place in the steak competition! Oliver Crämer came in second, followed by Alessandro Pavanello in third place.

The competition under head judge Haymo Gutweniger took place on May 8, 2022 and aroused a lot of curiosity among the trade fair visitors. Finally, BBQ enthusiasts were able to experience the fine art of steak grilling live and look directly over the shoulders of the masters. Mike Altendeitering (4th place), Lars Eickmeyer (5th place), Christian Lautenschläger (6th place), Daniel Schinko (7th place), Roland Parsdorfer (8th place), Tommaso Fontana (9th place) and Daniele Govoni (10th place) also made it into the top 10. The Golden Ticket Winner of the Steak Cook-Off was Oliver Crämer.

At the SCA Ancillary Burger Contest, the participating "burger masters" were able to demonstrate their skills in preparing patties, buns, etc. First place for the best burger went to Oliver Crämer, followed by Patrick Holzapfel in second place and Lars Eickmeyer in third place. The burger creations by Mike Altendeitering (fourth place) and Alessandro Pavanello (fifth place) were also impressive and tasty! Lars Eickmeyer was the Golden Ticket Winner of the SCA Ancillary Burger Contest. The exact points overview will be announced by the SCA.

In addition to the honor and the SCA points, the winners also received prize money. We would like to congratulate the winners and thank all the pitmasters for their participation. We really hope you will join us again at the next BBQ Week!
