FIRE&FOOD Product Test: Skotti Grill

A Gasi grill as hand luggage: Just put 9 parts together, connect the gas cartridge - and the Skotti gas grill with a grill surface of 20 x 30 cm is ready for grilling. The small gas grill can also be used as a charcoal and wood fire grill. A stylish bag made of truck tarpaulin brings all the individual parts of the grill together to form a compact unit that requires very little storage space and makes the grill an ideal companion for on the go.

"Very beautiful and made with a lot of attention to detail." Elmar Fetscher tested the Skotti very carefully.

The structure
The assembly is very simple and I assembled the grill intuitively during the test, even though it comes with very nicely designed instructions. It took me about 3 minutes to assemble it for the first time, but with a bit of practice it will probably be a bit quicker. The plugged-in parts fit together precisely and result in a stable structure.

Operational
After a short assembly time, you have a functional gas grill with enough power and a sufficient grilling surface. Due to the simplicity of the design, the side panels also heat up quickly during use and can cause hot fingers. When using gas, the fat can collect on the bottom of the grill if you are grilling very fatty food and can cause a fire at high grill temperatures. The pan should therefore be cleaned of fat regularly. The choice of different energy sources is very practical. If the gas does run out in the middle of nowhere, the grill can also be operated with wood. For BBQ fans, the Skotti is also optionally available with a hood. This option makes the Skotti a real all-rounder for on the go.

Packed in the flat bag, the Skotti takes up very little space.

Conclusion:
A perfect appearance of the Skotti. From the packaging, the bag, the instructions for use - very beautiful and made with great attention to detail. The product design in terms of form and function of the Skotti is also sophisticated and the workmanship of the individual parts deserves full marks. The basic version of the Skotti is available from a RRP of 159 euros.

The Skotti can be assembled from 9 individual parts.

The individual parts are assembled with precision.
