The mixing spoon is made from local cherry wood and oiled. Cherry wood develops its characteristic reddish color through oiling - this makes the individual wood grain even more noticeable. This grain is unique for each spoon and can therefore differ from our illustration.

The classic shape with an oval ladle and flat handle means the spoon fits comfortably in the hand. The branded Petromax logo is an additional eye-catcher.

Care tip
Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. For this reason, the Petromax spoon should not be left in water for long periods of time, but should be cleaned thoroughly with warm water and scouring powder. Then stand it upright and allow it to air dry. If the oil wears off through use and cleaning, the spoon can be rubbed with hot, tasteless vegetable oil or paraffin oil. Allow it to soak in overnight and then rub off any excess oil. This treatment can be repeated regularly.
