Red Spirit knife series - Dick's Inspiring - Made in Germany
This traditional Asian chef's knife, with its wide, thinly ground and extremely sharp blade, is particularly suitable for cutting fish, meat, fruit and vegetables. Thanks to the ground-in grooves, even soft foods can be cut precisely. When cutting, the grooves form small air cushions between the blade and the food so that it does not stick so strongly. Thanks to the slightly curved blade, the Santoku Red Spirit is also suitable for rocking cutting, for example for herbs.
The blade is made of stainless steel (X55CrMo14) and is hardened to 56° Rockwell for long-lasting cutting performance. The blades are ground very thin and the laser-tested cutting geometry with the polishing finish gives the knife its extremely high initial sharpness. The ferrule and end piece are made of stainless steel and permanently connect the blade to the handle. It is made of non-slip polyamide and its symmetrical, round shape enables comfortable and harmonious handling.
