FIRE&FOOD BBQ WEEK: New date 06.–08. May 2022

Statement by Elmar Fetscher, CEO of FIRE&FOOD on the current situation of BBQ WEEK

A few weeks ago we had to cancel the premiere event of the FIRE&FOOD BBQ WEEK at the albgut in Münsingen. The current uncertain planning situation now forces us to cancel the Dutch
Oven competition, planned for the Saturday of the fair, and the SCA Steak Championship on the Sunday of the fair have also been cancelled. The currently limited travel and accommodation options for the participants do not allow the competitions to take place. In addition, it must be expected that further tightened measures will be necessary to contain the spread of the Covid virus. Really unfortunate! But we are looking forward and are already planning the event in 2022, which will also be an anniversary year for FIRE&FOOD. We are already looking forward to celebrating 20 years of FIRE&FOOD with you! Reserve the date from May 6th to 8th, 2022 today!
