FIRE&FOOD Father's Day BBQ 2026
The band Oansno created a great atmosphere with their wild tavern music, blending brass, ska, Balkan beats, hip-hop, reggae, and original lyrics.
At the Father's Day BBQ, fans could meet the German meat pope and BBQ expert Lucki Maurer.
The FIRE&FOOD friends met on Father's Day for the now legendary BBQ in Wehringen near Augsburg. Despite mixed weather, the atmosphere was excellent, and around 500 guests enjoyed an impressive variety of grilled dishes.
Culinary delights were plentiful: Giuseppe Messina celebrated Wagyu brisket from the smoker, Kolo from Rösle prepared Tri-Tip from Namibian Simmental beef, and Henrich from Geda Grill and Steffen from Eventsphere360 presented pulled pork burgers made from Swabian-Hall pork. Heiko and his meat sommeliers impressed with an Asado of British lamb, while Bubba prepared Arctic char on the hot plancha.
A special highlight was the joint aging of the FIRE&FOOD whisky. Hans-Jürgen Filp, master distiller at Singold Distillery, had specially prepared a wooden barrel for this. The whisky will now mature in it for three years before being distributed to the shareholders – barrel shares are still available.
The day was musically accompanied by the Munich band Oansno, who created a great atmosphere with their tavern music. In addition, several grill brands took the opportunity to present their latest equipment. These included Rösle, Traeger, and Geda Grill. Grill specialist dealer Stefan Hertel also presented brands such as BSTRD, OFYR, and Napoleon.
A big thank you to everyone who made this day possible and celebrated with us!
