Characteristics:
The patented 360° self-rotating display can be used in any position and in any hand. The device has an intelligent display light and detects light levels and automatically switches the light on or off depending on the lighting conditions. The motion-sensitive sleep mode automatically switches the SuperFast Thermapen 4 on or off when it is put down or picked up, thus saving battery life.

The housing is washable and contains "Biomaster" additives that reduce bacterial growth and the ergonomic rubber seal minimizes the risk of water, dust or food ingress.

The Thermapen Professional is waterproof to IP67/67 and one of the fastest reading contact thermometers on the market today. The true temperature of a product can be tested in just 3 seconds. The Thermapen's stainless steel food probe has a reduced tip (Ø3.3 x 115 mm). The probe can be folded 180° to the side of the meter when not in use.

The Thermapen is powered by a single AAA battery with a battery life of 3000 hours under normal use without the display light on. When applicable, low battery icon and open circuit indicators are displayed.
